The harvest began on September 3rd.
It’s that time again – the most exciting time of the year is upon us! We started harvesting on September 3rd, a little earlier than usual. The hot and sunny summer accelerated the ripening of the grapes. We are particularly pleased about the already completed harvest for our FÜNFERL Gemischter Satz, consisting of the five grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Neuburger, Sauvignon Blanc, Muskateller and Grüner Veltliner. We started – like every year – with our Gelber Muskateller. These two wines are already fermenting and will soon be ready for bottling.

Storm update from September 21, 2024

The tremendouse storms of the last few days brought us a lot of water and luckily we were spared the floods. Unfortunately, a couple of our stone walls in the vineyard were broken due to all the rain, but we will rebuild them after the harvest. At the moment we are happy about the beautiful and, above all, dry weather so that we can continue with the grape harvest.

Today we are harvesting the wonderful grapes from our amazing Riesling sight – Ried Kögl. Hopefully it will stay dry so that we can get all the grapes into the cellar to press soon.
